Bank Retirement Plan Coalition

The Bank Retirement Plan Coalition (“BRPC”) was founded in 1997 by a group of 11 banks and consultants and has grown to 20 bank members today, including the American Bankers Association. The objective of the BRPC is to promote and improve retirement services businesses for banks, focusing extensively on the growing and complex products used to service 401(k) and other defined contribution clients.

The group meets twice a year in formal sessions, although the exchange of critical business information among member banks takes place throughout the year. Meetings focus on:
  • “Best practices” among member banks and industry leaders.
  • Outside expert advice on issues of current and future importance (e.g., investment advice, fee disclosure).
  • Discussions of tactical and strategic solutions to member bank’s business problems.
  • Development of “shared” data bases on various aspects of the retirement business.
  • Promotion of the group (and banks in general) to the public and media.

Sterling Resources facilitates the group’s meetings and events. For more information, or to be considered for membership, please contact Sterling Resources.
